Green Tea & Ginger

Few spices have been prized as long as ginger, and against green tea it does something particular: it fills out the middle of the cup without covering the leaf. Our certified organic blend keeps the ginger generous but never dominant, so the grassy sweetness of the green tea still comes through clearly. It is a good cup for a cold morning. The ginger is cut fine and sits alongside the leaf in the bag, so it releases early and evenly, and the tea underneath is brewed below the boil to keep it from turning astringent.
